Removal Procedure

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
Remove the tail lamps. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement .
Remove the rear wheelhouse liner bolts (1) on both sides.

Remove the rear bumper fascia lower retainers (1).

Pull the rear bumper fascia (1) carefully outward and use a plastic tool in order to release the retaining tabs from rear bumper fascia guides.

NOTE: Use care when removing the fascia. Fascia might rip apart if forced.
Use a plastic trim tool to release the retaining tabs of rear bumper fascia (1).

Disconnect any electrical connectors.
With the aid of an assistant remove the rear bumper fascia (1).

Transfer or replace other components as necessary.
