Preliminary Procedures Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Place a drain pan under the transmission fluid cooler pipes. Cap the fittings and plug the holes when removing the transmission fluid cooler pipes.
1	Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Fastener CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Disconnect the transmission fluid cooler pipe fastener from the transmission. Tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
2	Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Fastener Procedure Disconnect the transmission fluid cooler pipe fastener from the oil pan. Tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
3	Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Assembly Procedure Disconnect the quick connect fittings. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection . Inspect the transmission fluid level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Level Inspection . Inspect for transmission fluid leaks.
