Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Remove the supercharger. Supercharger and Gasket Replacement 
  2. Remove the supercharger bypass valve actuator. Supercharger Bypass Valve Actuator Replacement

  3. Remove and DISCARD the short supercharger front cover assembly bolts (1) (Qty: 4).
  4. Remove and DISCARD the long supercharger front cover assembly bolts (2) (Qty: 2).
    5. NOTE:

    The supercharger front cover assembly is sealed to the supercharger assembly with room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) sealant. Use a suitable pry tool at pry points indicated by arrows to aid in the removal of the supercharger front cover assembly.

  5. Remove the supercharger front cover assembly (3).
    6. Fig 2: Dowel Pins

  6. Remove and DISCARD the dowels (2) (Qty: 2) from the supercharger assembly (1).
