Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Install the NEW dowels (2) (Qty: 2) into the supercharger assembly (1).
- Apply a 2 mm (0.08 in) bead of RTV sealant (1) around the perimeter of the sealing surface of the NEW supercharger front cover assembly. The bead should remain inside of the outer perimeter fastener holes as shown.
- Carefully install the supercharger front cover assembly (3).
- Install and hand tighten the NEW short supercharger front cover assembly bolts (1) (Qty: 4).
- Install and hand tighten the NEW long supercharger front cover assembly bolts (2) (Qty: 2).
- Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown.
- Tighten all bolts a first pass to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).
- Tighten bolts (1) and (2) a second pass to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).
- Inspect through the air inlet that no RTV sealant has squeezed into the inside of the supercharger front cover assembly. If there is RTV sealant present in the inside of the front cover assembly, wipe it clean before the sealant cures.
- Allow RTV sealant to cure for at least one hour after the supercharger front cover assembly is installed.

- Install the supercharger. Supercharger and Gasket Replacement
NOTE:
Clean all residual room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) sealant from the sealing surfaces of both the supercharger assembly and supercharger front cover assembly before attempting to install the supercharger front cover assembly.
NOTE:
The damper coupling (4) will be held in place with tape on both sides. Remove the tape and ensure the spring and damper coupling stays in the same orientation when installing the supercharger front cover assembly.
CAUTION:
This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.
