Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Replacement (LS7 with C42)

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the radiator. Refer to Radiator Replacement (LS7 with C42) .
  2. Disconnect the engine coolant fan motor connector.
  3. Unclip wiring harness from engine coolant fan shroud.
1 Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Bolt (Qty 3)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
5 N.m (44 lb in)
2 Auxiliary Radiator Upper Bracket
3 Engine Coolant Fan Shroud

Procedures

  1. Transfer the engine coolant fan motors to the new engine coolant fan shroud. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Motor Replacement (LS7 - Rear) Engine Coolant Fan Motor Replacement (LS7 - Front) .
  2. Transfer all necessary components.
