Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Replacement (LS7 Rear)

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove air cleaner resonator and outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
  2. Remove radiator inlet hose. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LSA) Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LS7) .
  3. Disconnect the engine coolant fan motor connector.
  4. Unclip wiring harness from engine coolant fan shroud.
1 Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Bolt
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
5 N.m (44 lb in)
2 Engine Coolant Fan Shroud

Procedures

  1. Transfer the engine coolant fan motors to the new engine coolant fan shroud. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Motor Replacement (LS7 - Front) .
  2. Transfer all necessary components.
