Installation Procedure

Apply an approximately 3.5 mm (0.14 in) thick bead of oil pan sealant to the joints (arrows).

NOTE:

The assembly time including torque check must take no longer than 10 minutes.

Apply an approximately 3.5 mm (0.14 in) thick bead of oil pan sealant (1) as illustrated.

CAUTION:

Install the oil pan bolts (1) to the oil pan (2) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Install the oil pan bolts (1) and (2) to the transmission and tighten to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).
Install the exhaust flexible pipe. Refer to Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (LUV,LUW)
Install the front wheelhouse liner Inner front extension. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Inner Front Extension Replacement (Left SIde) , Front Wheelhouse Liner Inner Front Extension Replacement (Right SIde, LWE, LUW) .
Install the oil level indicator tube. Refer to Oil Level Indicator Tube Replacement
Refill the engine oil . Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement .
