Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (LAU)

Preliminary Procedure Disconnect the air cleaner outlet duct from the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (LF1) or Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (LAU) . Remove the mass airflow sensor. Refer to Mass Airflow Sensor with Intake Air Temperature Sensor Replacement (LF1) or Mass Airflow Sensor with Intake Air Temperature Sensor Replacement (LAU) . Disconnect the secondary air injection hose from the air cleaner. Refer to Secondary Air Injection Pump Hose Replacement
1	Air Cleaner Assembly Procedure Disengage the air cleaner housing grommets from the studs, while guiding the housing out of the inlet duct. Transfer parts as necessary.

Disconnect the air cleaner outlet duct from the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (LF1) or Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (LAU) .
Remove the mass airflow sensor. Refer to Mass Airflow Sensor with Intake Air Temperature Sensor Replacement (LF1) or Mass Airflow Sensor with Intake Air Temperature Sensor Replacement (LAU) .
Disconnect the secondary air injection hose from the air cleaner. Refer to Secondary Air Injection Pump Hose Replacement

Air Cleaner Assembly

Procedure

Disengage the air cleaner housing grommets from the studs, while guiding the housing out of the inlet duct.
Transfer parts as necessary.
