Auxiliary Water Pump Replacement (LAU)

Preliminary Procedures Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LF1) or Cooling System Draining and Filling - Vac-N-Fill (GE 47716) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LAU) Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Remove the auxiliary water pump outlet hose. Refer to Auxiliary Water Pump Outlet Hose Replacement (LAU) Remove the auxiliary water pump inlet hose. Refer to Auxiliary Water Pump Inlet Hose Replacement (LAU) Disconnect electrical connector from auxiliary water pump.
1	Auxiliary Water Pump Bolts (Qty 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 12 N.m (8 lb ft)

Remove the auxiliary water pump outlet hose. Refer to Auxiliary Water Pump Outlet Hose Replacement (LAU)
Remove the auxiliary water pump inlet hose. Refer to Auxiliary Water Pump Inlet Hose Replacement (LAU)
Disconnect electrical connector from auxiliary water pump.

Auxiliary Water Pump Bolts (Qty 2)

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten: 12 N.m (8 lb ft)
