Valve Rocker Arm Cover Installation - Lower Left Side

  1. Install NEW valve rocker arm cover grommets and use NEW valve rocker arm cover bolts if they are serviced with the grommet.
  2. NOTE: The gasket may be reused if it is not torn, cracked, stretched, or swollen.
  3. Install the lower valve rocker arm cover.

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  5. Install the lower valve rocker arm cover bolts.
    1. Tighten the lower valve rocker arm cover bolts in the proper sequence to 10 N.m (89 lb in) .
    2. Retighten the lower valve rocker arm cover bolts in the proper sequence to the same torque, 10 N.m (89 lb in) .
