Lower Oil Pan Installation

  1. Apply a 2-3 mm wide by 0.5-1.5 mm high bead of GM P/N 12378521 (Canadian P/N 88901148) sealant to the lower oil pan mating surface.

  3. Install the lower oil pan.

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  5. Install the lower oil pan bolts and nuts and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  7. Connect the oil level sensor.
