Fuel Injector Installation

Install a new O-ring onto the fuel injector.
Lubricate the O-ring with engine oil.
Install a new copper washer into the fuel injector bore in the cylinder head.
Install the fuel injector right bracket pin.

Install the fuel injector left bracket pin.

NOTE: The unique fuel injector flow rates are programmed into the ECM according to cylinder location. Mark the fuel injectors for correct re-installation to the same cylinders. Failure to do so may result in a poor drive-ability condition.

Install the right fuel injector with fuel injector bracket.

Install the left fuel injector with fuel injector bracket.

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the right fuel injector bracket bolts and tighten to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

Install the left fuel injector bracket bolts and tighten to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).
