Preliminary Procedures IMPORTANT: It is not necessary to discharge the refrigerant from the air conditioning (A/C) system during auxiliary transmission oil cooler (TOC) front line replacement. Remove the A/C condenser mounting bolts and reposition the condenser. Reposition the condenser to access the transmission oil cooler. Refer to Condenser Replacement . Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement . Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement . Remove front compartment sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement . Remove transmission fluid cooler pipes front and rear. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Replacement - Front , and Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Replacement - Rear .
1	Transmission Oil Cooler Bolts (Qty: 4) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 5 N.m (44 lb in)

Preliminary Procedures

IMPORTANT: It is not necessary to discharge the refrigerant from the air conditioning (A/C) system during auxiliary transmission oil cooler (TOC) front line replacement. Remove the A/C condenser mounting bolts and reposition the condenser.

Reposition the condenser to access the transmission oil cooler. Refer to Condenser Replacement .
Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement .
Remove front compartment sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement .
Remove transmission fluid cooler pipes front and rear. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Replacement - Front , and Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Replacement - Rear .

Transmission Oil Cooler Bolts (Qty: 4)

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten: 5 N.m (44 lb in)
