Preliminary Procedures IMPORTANT: It is not necessary to discharge the refrigerant from the air conditioning (A/C) system during auxiliary transmission oil cooler (TOC) front line replacement. Remove the A/C condenser mounting bolts and reposition the condenser. Reposition the condenser to access the transmission oil cooler lines. Refer to Condenser Replacement . Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement . Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement .
