Timing Belt Idler Pulley Installation

  1. Clean the timing belt idler pulley thread.
    2. Fig 1: Timing Belt Idler Pulley

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the timing belt idler pulley (2) and the NEW bolt (1) with screw locking compound. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers .
  3. Tighten the NEW bolt (1) to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
