Engine Block Assemble (1.6L LDE, LXV, 1.8L 2H0, and LUW)

Install the 4 piston oil nozzles (1).

Install the piston (1) and spring (2) to the oil pressure relief valve closure bolt (3).

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the oil pressure relief valve and the oil pressure relief valve closure bolt (1) and tighten to 21 N.m (16 lb ft).

Install the knock sensor (1) and the knock sensor bolt (2) and tighten to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

Install the oil flow check valve (1).

Install the oil pressure switch (1) and tighten to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

Install the cylinder head locating (1, 2).
