Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the right engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement - Right Side .
  2. Remove the engine drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .

  4. Use J 38122-A  to prevent the crankshaft from rotating while loosening the crankshaft balancer bolt.
  5. Remove the crankshaft balancer bolt. Discard the bolt.

  7. Remove the crankshaft balancer.
