Preliminary Procedure: Remove the rear compartment lid inner panel trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement .
1	High Mount Stop Lamp Bulb Connector Tip: Pinch the four tabs on the high mount stop lamp bulb connector and remove the connector from the high mount stop lamp.
