Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement

Preliminary Procedures Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging . Remove drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the right side engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement - Right Side . Remove the compressor hose assembly. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Replacement . Disconnect the compressor electrical connector.
1	A/C Compressor Bolt (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

Remove drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
Remove the right side engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement - Right Side .
Remove the compressor hose assembly. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Replacement .
Disconnect the compressor electrical connector.

A/C Compressor Bolt (Qty: 3)

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten: 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
