Inflatable Restraint Side Impact Sensor Replacement (Coupe)

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Reposition the water deflector.
1 Side Impact Sensor Bolt (Qty: 2)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure: 
Loosen the bolts in order to remove the sensor.

Tighten:  8 N.m (71 lb in)

2 Side Impact Sensor

Procedure

  1. Remove the connector position assurance (CPA) retainer.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
