Preliminary Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to. SIR Disabling and Enabling 
  2. Remove the passenger seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket
1 Inflatable Restraint Passenger Presence Module Rivet (Qty: 2)
WARNING: Use the proper eye protection when drilling to prevent metal chips from causing physical injury.

Procedure: 
Drill out both guide rivets before removing.
2 Inflatable Restraint Passenger Presence Module
NOTE: This module is not a component of the passenger presence service kit, and can also be re-used.

Procedure: 
Refer to Control Module References for replacement and setup information.
