Circuit/System Verification

Perform an inspection of the turbocharger. Refer to Turbocharger Cleaning and Inspection .
Use the scan tool output controls to command the Turbocharger Wastegate Solenoid parameter from 0-100 %. An audible series of clicks when the command is between 20-90 % should be heard and felt.
Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC to verify the DTC does not reset. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
