Transmission Case Disassemble: Disassemble

Remove the input shaft bearing retainer screws and the retainer.

Press out the input shaft bearing race using the 87 90 800 . See Special Tools . Use the 87 92 236 as a base for the pressing operation. See Special Tools .

Press out the output shaft bearing race using the 87 91 311 . See Special Tools .

Remove the transaxle vent filter from the case using a punch. Drive the vent from the outside to the inside.
