Clutch Housing Disassemble: Disassemble

  1. Press out the input shaft bearing race using the 87 91 204  . See Special Tools . Use the 87 92 236  as a base for pressing operation. See Special Tools .
  2. Fig 2: Tapping Out Axle Seal

  3. Tap out the axle seal and discard.

    IMPORTANT: When driving to the differential bearing race, tap equally on the opposite sides of the race to avoid damaging the race bore and seal surface.
  5. Tap out the differential bearing race using a punch and hammer.
