Preliminary Procedure
- Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling
.
- Remove the driver or passenger seat back cushion cover and pad. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .

Front Seat Lumbar Support Procedure
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Pull outward at the bottom of the seat to release the bottom support wires.
- Pull the bottom of the lumbar forward and up until the lumbar support wires disengage from the seat back frame.
