Piston Oil Nozzle Cleaning and Inspection

    WARNING: Refer to Cleaning Solvent Warning .
  1. Clean the piston oil nozzle in cleaning solvent. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers for recommended cleaners.
  2. WARNING: Wear safety glasses in order to avoid eye damage.
  3. Dry the nozzle with compressed air.
  4. Inspect the piston oil nozzle for the following:
    • For cracks or damage
    • Plugged oil passages (1)
    • Bent, misaligned, or cracked oil nozzle tubes (2)
    • Bent or broken clip (3)
