Engine Block Heater Installation

  1. Apply sealer to the engine block heater. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers for recommended sealant.
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the engine block heater into the engine block and tighten to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
