Preliminary Procedure Remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister. Refer to Evaporative Emission Canister Replacement .

2	Evaporative Emission Canister Vent Solenoid Valve Hose Procedure Disconnect the quick connect fitting at the EVAP canister. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service . Push in the retainer on the rear of the EVAP canister disengaging the vent solenoid valve.

Procedure

Disconnect the quick connect fitting at the EVAP canister. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
Push in the retainer on the rear of the EVAP canister disengaging the vent solenoid valve.
