Side Impact Sensor (First) Replacement: Removal

- Do the 12 volt battery terminal disconnection procedure (see 12 VOLT BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION AND RECONNECTION ), then wait at least 3 minutes before starting work.
- Remove the front seat assembly (see FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Remove the B-pillar lower trim (see B-PILLAR UPPER/LOWER TRIM ).
- Disconnect the floor wire harness 4P connector (A) from the side impact sensor (first) (B).
- Using a TORX T30 bit, remove the TORX bolt (C), then remove the side impact sensor (first).
