Installation Procedure

  1. Position the transaxle bracket to the transaxle.
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the transaxle bracket bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bracket bolts to 95 N.m (70 lb ft).

  3. Remove the support from the transaxle.

  4. Install the upper nuts which secure the transaxle bracket to the transaxle mount.

    Tighten:  Tighten the upper nuts to 47 N.m (35 lb ft).

  5. Install the left engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement (Left) or Engine Splash Shield Replacement (Right) .
  6. Install the left front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  7. Lower the vehicle.
