Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution .
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting and Jacking Notice .
  3. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
  4. Place a drip pan under the hoses to catch the fluid that will run out of the lines.

  6. Remove the bolt from the oil cooler outlet pipe at the right lower side of the radiator.
  7. Remove the bolt from the outlet pipe bracket.

  9. Remove the bolt from the outlet pipe on the transaxle side.
  10. Remove the outlet pipe assembly.

  12. Remove the bolt from the oil cooler inlet pipe at the left lower side of the radiator.

  14. Remove the bolt from the inlet pipe at the transaxle side.
  15. Remove the inlet pipe assembly.
