Converter Housing Installation

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the line pressure measurement plug.
Tighten: Tighten the plug to 20 N.m (15 lb ft) .

Install the baffle plate and the baffle plate bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in) .

Install the oil filter and the oil filter bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in) .
Install the paper gasket.
Install the metal gasket.

Install the torque converter housing.
Install the torque converter bolts and hand tighten in the following order: 7, 20, 12, 16, and 4.
Final tighten the bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 15 N.m (11 lb ft) .
Hand tighten the remaining bolts in the following order: 15, 3, 14, 5, 13, 22, 11, 21, 10, 9, 19, 8, 18, 17, 6, 1, and 2.
Final tighten all the bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 23 N.m (17 lb ft)
