Assembly Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution .
  1. Measure the setting discs for the clutch B/E. Refer to Clutch B/E Measurement Procedure .
    2. Fig 1: View Of Cup Spring

  2. Install the cup spring.

  3. Using DT 46482  (1) press down on the cup spring in clutch B. See Special Tools .
  4. Install the split stop ring.

  5. Install the O-ring on the oil dam.
  6. Install the oil dam and the cup spring.

  7. Using DT 46483  (1), press down on the cup spring in clutch E. See Special Tools .
  8. Install the split stop ring.

  9. Install disc set E.

  10. Install the snap ring.

  11. Install the inner disc carrier E and install the needle roller thrust bearing.

  12. Install the rectangular-section ring for the input shaft and the retaining ring. Install the piston rings (1, 2).

  13. Install disc set B.

  14. Install piston B.

  15. Install the retaining snap ring.

  16. Install the shim.
  17. Install the needle bearing and thrust washer

  18. Install the input shaft with clutch B/E.

  19. Install the 2 sealing rings to clutch B/E.
  20. Install the rear cover. Refer to Transmission Rear Cover Replacement .
