Brake F, Slotted Nut Removal: Removal

    CAUTION: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution .
  1. Remove the side shaft. Refer to Side Shaft Removal .
    2. Fig 1: View Of Disc Set

  2. Remove the disc set.

  3. Remove the brake F inner disc carrier.

  4. Install DT 46474  (1) and remove the brake F split stop ring. See Special Tools .
  5. Remove DT 46474  (1). See Special Tools .

  6. Remove the cup spring.

  7. Release the piston F by applying compressed air to the bore.

    IMPORTANT: Remove the plate by pressing the plate upward from beneath.
  8. Remove piston F and remove the bearing plate with the spur gear.
