NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Fastener Tightening Specifications: Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications .Preliminary Procedure: Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement .
1	Steering Wheel Nut Tighten: 37 N.m (27 lb ft)
2	Steering Wheel Assembly Tip: Disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the steering wheel using J 1859-A Steering Wheel Puller with J 36541-A Steering Wheel Puller Legs. See Special Tools . Make an alignment mark to note the relationship between the steering wheel and the steering shaft. The marks will be needed to align the wheel during installation.
