Installation Procedure

  1. Install the oil cooler.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the oil cooler bolts (4) and stud (3).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts and stud to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).

  4. Connect the oil cooler hoses (2).
  5. Install the oil pressure sensor (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the sensor to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).

  6. Fill the charged air cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System - Charge Air Cooling System in Engine Cooling.
