Removal Procedure

  1. Install the J 38122-A  . See Special Tools .
  2. Remove the balancer retaining bolt and washer. Use the J 38122-A  and a breaker bar to prevent the crankshaft from rotating when loosening the bolt. See Special Tools .

    Discard the bolt.

  3. Remove the crankshaft balancer assembly.
