Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM in Engine Cooling.
  2. Release the heater inlet hose clamp using the J 38185  at the heater core.
  3. Remove the heater inlet hose from the heater core.

  4. Release the heater inlet hose clamp using the J 38185  at the engine water outlet adapter pipe.
  5. Remove the heater inlet hose from the engine water outlet adapter pipe.
