Installation Procedure

  1. Install the air outlet assembly into the instrument panel carrier.

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the screw (1) securing the air outlet assembly to the instrument panel carrier.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the air outlet assembly screw to 1.9 N.m (17 Ib. in).

  3. Install the air distribution duct. Refer to AIR DISTRIBUTOR DUCT REPLACEMENT  in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning.
  4. Install the Instrument panel carrier. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) CARRIER REPLACEMENT .
