Installation Procedure

  1. Install the A/C high pressure switch to the A/C compressor.
  2. Install the A/C high pressure switch connector retaining ring.
  3. Connect the A/C high pressure switch electrical connector (2).
  4. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to AIR CLEANER OUTLET RESONATOR REPLACEMENT in Engine Controls - 4.3L.
  5. Evacuate and recharge the A/C system. Refer to REFRIGERANT RECOVERY AND RECHARGING .
  6. Leak test the fittings of the components using the J 39400-A  .
