Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to SIR CAUTION in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to DISABLING SYSTEM in SIR.
  2. Remove the ignition switch. Refer to Ignition and Key Alarm Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle .
  3. Remove the turn signal cancel cam. Refer to Turn Signal Cancel Cam and Bearing Thrust Washer - Disassemble - Off Vehicle .
  4. Remove the park lock cable from the lock cylinder housing.

  6. Remove 3 TORX® screws.
  7. Remove the lock cylinder housing from the steering column.
