Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2002 GMC Yukon XL, 2002 GMC Yukon, 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2002 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the lower IP trim panel to the IP assembly.
  2. Connect the following electrical components:
    • The power outlet ports (1, 2)
    • The ashtray lamp (3)
    • The IP compartment lamp, if equipped

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the screws connecting the lower trim panel to the IP assembly. Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lbs in).

  5. Install the following components, depending on how equipped:

  7. Install the IP cluster trim bezel. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Replacement .
