Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2002 GMC Yukon XL, 2002 GMC Yukon, 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2002 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the harness to the vehicle.
    2. Fig 1: Installing IP Harness/Electrical Connectors

  2. Engage the harness mounting clips.
  3. Connect the electrical connectors.
  4. Install the HVAC duct. Refer to Air Distributor Duct Replacement .
  5. Install the instrument panel. Refer to IP Carrier Replacement .
  6. Install the door sill plate. Refer to DOOR SILL PLATE REPLACEMENT - FRONT or DOOR SILL PLATE REPLACEMENT - REAR .
  7. Connect the SDM module. Refer to AIR BAG MODULES .
