Park Brake Pedal Assembly: Installation

  1. Connect the front brake cable to the pedal.
  2. Install the pedal to the vehicle. Install the pedal retaining nuts.
  3. Install the left floor air outlet duct.
  4. Install the left side kick panel. Install the release handle.
  5. Enable the park brake cable automatic adjuster. See ENABLING THE PARK BRAKE CABLE AUTOMATIC ADJUSTER  .
  6. Verify that the vehicle will hold position with the brake pedal depressed. If additional adjustments need to be made, see PARKING BRAKE ADJUSTMENT  .
