Brake Drum: Installation

  1. Locate the relationship mark and install the brake drum to the axle. Install the rear brake drum retainers if present.
  2. Remove the pin from the park brake lever. See ENABLING THE PARK BRAKE CABLE AUTOMATIC ADJUSTER  . Install the tire and wheel.
  3. Adjust the rear brakes. See DRUM BRAKE ADJUSTMENT  . Remove the safety stands and lower the vehicle.
