Wheel Hub, Steering Knuckle: Notes

NOTE: To remove the axle shaft, it is only necessary to remove the steering knuckle and hub assembly, not disassemble it. Disassemble the steering knuckle/hub assembly only if the components are damaged or worn out.
  1. Remove in the order indicated in the illustration. See Fig 1 .
  2. Install in reverse order of removal. Tighten all fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. After installation, inspect the front wheel alignment and adjust it if necessary.
