Rotating Clutch Housing Bushing Replacement

  1. Gently tap bushing through large open side of rotating clutch housing until bushing is dislodged out smaller opening. Remove any nicks and burrs with crocus cloth. Position rotating clutch housing on a press so front of housing is facing upward.
  2. If bushing is being installed by hand (a press is preferred), install large end of Rotating Clutch Bushing Installer (J-43778) or equivalent, onto Universal Driver (J-8092) or equivalent. Install NEW bushing onto bushing installer tool. Drive or press the NEW bushing into rotating clutch housing. Ensure bushing is installed flush to .010" (.25 mm) below rotating clutch housing surface.
