However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position P3 planetary carrier on workbench so rear of the carrier is upward. Install P3 Carrier Bearing Race Remover (J-44528) or equivalent, over hub of carrier and onto bearing race. Tighten screws of tool with a wrench. See Fig 1.
  2. Place 2 wooden blocks on press. Position carrier so the bearing race remover tool spans wooden blocks and so front of the carrier is facing down. Install center portion of race remover tool into carrier. See Fig 1.
WARNING: Pressing P3 planetary carrier from bearing race requires P3 carrier to fall from bearing race. Ensure carrier is safely caught when freed from bearing race.
  3. Press P3 planetary carrier from race remover tool, then remove bearing race from tool. Remove tool from carrier. Position P3 planetary carrier on press so rear of carrier is upward. Install a NEW bearing race into Bearing Race Installer (J-43797) or equivalent. Using installer tool, press NEW bearing race onto planetary carrier hub until installer tool seats.
