P2 Planetary Carrier Bushing Replacement

NOTE:
Preferred method for removing/installing P2 carrier bushing is to use a P2 Bushing Remover/Installer (J-43785) or equivalent, and a press. If a press is not available, use bushing remover/installer tool and a Universal Driver (J-8092) or equivalent.
- Position P2 planetary carrier on wooden blocks on press with external splines upward. If bushing will be removed without a press, install short end of P2 Bushing Remover/Installer (J-43785) or equivalent, onto Universal Driver (J-8092) or equivalent. Press or drive bushing out bottom side of carrier.
- If bushing will be installed by hand, install long end of bushing remover/installer tool onto universal drive. Install NEW bushing into remover/installer tool. Press or drive bushing into carrier from top side, until remover/installer tool seats.
