Main Pump: Reassembly

  1. Install a NEW "O" ring onto pump body. Position main pump body on workbench with hub facing downward. Lubricate pump drive gear and driven gear.
  2. Align drive gear and driven gear with main pump. Ensure punch marks are placed in originally installed orientation to avoid pump or transmission damage.
  3. Install gears into pump body. Align dowel pin holes in wear plate with dowel pins in pump body. Ensure bolt holes on main pump wear plate align with bolt holes on main pump body. Install wear plate onto dowel pins and main pump body. See Figure.
